About Rosalie Malter
In 1961, Rosalie earned her B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois. She earned her M.A. degree in 1983 in counseling from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She also was a certified Biofeedback therapist from 1984 - 2001. Rosalie is a certified yoga teacher (RYT 500) and has been teaching since 1985. In 2001 she made "Yoga for You," a video tape and DVD introduction to yoga. Rosalie and Rick co-authored a book, “Shrinking the Judge,” in 1996 and a second edition in 1998.
Rosalie loves journeying with people, collaborating with them on their way to growth and development, intentionality and better health. She knows the significance of listening and validating another’s feeling and intentions. No one wants to be judged or evaluated or fixed – just heard.
Life transitions can be stressful. We have to end some things to begin new ones, making major life choices, relocating, finding new friends and meaningful activities and redefining our life’s purpose.
Rosalie has been down that road herself and can journey with you in a strategic and supportive way to become your best and highest self at any time in your life. She works with you to help you realize you need to have health and energy in order to enjoy those years to the fullest and she is able to guide you to maintain or attain your best level of health and energy.

- Training in yoga practice, meditation and philosophy
- Managed a successful, large counseling practice for more than 20 years
