What is life coaching?

Unlike counseling and psychotherapy that look backwards to help you understand yourself, COACHING is a supportive relationship in the PRESENT TIME. Together we discover who you are NOW, what you want from life and how to most effectively reach your goals.

Coaching helps you take action and move towards specific results that make a positive difference in your life. Your investment of time and money with a coach should pay back huge dividends for you. We’ll help you maximize your life potential in ways that YOU visualize and dream.

Can I do this on my own?

If you have a very supportive friend, you might do this, but you might have more difficulty staying on track, as the friend would have his/her own ideas of what to do, and what they want out of the relationship. Unlike a friend, a coach can offer you:

What benefits can I expect?

Higher personal satisfaction and fulfillment from living the life you truly want

What is health coaching?

If you are near, at, or past retirement age, you may already have health problems. Or you may have fears about developing health problems. Finding good information to help in preventing health problems means enjoying your later years instead of spending them sitting in doctors’ offices. Our whole “health” care is really more of a “disease” care system. It is a very dysfunctional system because it’s controlled by the pharmaceutical industry and is run for extremely high profits. We have to learn more and take personal responsibility for our own health.

Health coaches help with:

Health coaching is NOT medical or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment with drugs or surgery for any disease

About Rosalie Malter, M.A.

Rosalie loves journeying with people, collaborating with them on their way to growth and development, intentionality and better health. She knows the significance of listening and validating another’s feeling and intentions. No one wants to be judged or evaluated or fixed – just heard.

It can be confusing and even overwhelming as we go through transitions, especially those of retirement and aging. We have to end some things and begin new ones, making major life choices, relocating, finding new friends and meaningful activities and redefining our life’s purpose.

Rosalie has been down that road herself and can journey with you in a strategic and supportive way to become your best and highest self in your Golden Years. She knows you need to have health and energy in order to enjoy those years to the fullest and is able to guide you to maintain or attain your best level of health and energy.

Rosalie has the training and background to understand the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of yourself. She has a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy, and M.A. in Counseling and an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) at the 500 hr. (senior) level. Her training in yoga practice, meditation and philosophy gives her a unique perspective on overcoming obstacles and releasing stress. She managed a successful, large counseling practice for more than 20 years. The yoga teaching, which she has done since 1985, helped her manage her stress and brought balance to her life.
